Learn more about the Roxbourg Humanitarian MBA Degree for Groups

1. For Professionals only: Roxbourg Humanitarian MBA is a professional higher education degree for teams of social ventures who are addressing social, gender or environmental inequity with concrete initiatives.

Prerequisite: Your team needs to be associated with the same legal entity (for-profit/not-for-profit) in order to qualify for the Roxbourg Humanitarian MBA for Groups. You can add up to 6 members to your team.

2. Eligibility Criteria: You are ready to scale up a real project that is addressing the basic needs of local communities around the world - clean water, balanced nutrition, breathable air, renewable energy, quality education, reliable healthcare, secure habitat, or self-expression. You already possess a university degree or equivalent work experience.

3. Rolling Admissions: You can apply throughout the year. You will go through several rounds of interviews where you will be requested to share the details of your project. You need to be sure that you can join the jam sessions (seminars) on the agreed timeslots per week.

4. Fees & Scholarships: Roxbourg is on a mission to make quality higher education affordable for everyone who wants to build a better world. The tuition fee is 4,800 Swiss Francs. You can decide the amount you can pay depending on your circumstances and Roxbourg will try to find a sponsor to cover the remaining amount of the fee.

5. Learning Method: You will join a Study Group where you will participate in Roxbourg Jam Sessions focused on broadening your understanding of sustainable innovation by leveraging the Roxbourg Library and Google Scholar. The goal of the study group is to support each other to get good done. You will be required to develop your venture plan using the Roxbourg X.0 Method.

:: Start becoming familiar with the Roxbourg Core Subjects by regularly attending the Jam Sessions.
:: Start finalizing your website and your social media.
:: Apply for registration of your venture with local authorities or project sponsorship.

Second 100 Days Checklist
:: Master the Core Subjects.
:: Start leading group discussions.
:: Finalize your venture registration or secure project sponsorship.
:: Start polishing and updating your website with your offers and your social media with your achievements.
:: Start partnership discussions.

Third 100 Days Checklist
:: Accelerate your venture by closing anchor deals to build capability/capacity to serve more people.
:: Pitch to the Roxbourg Jury in order to graduate (potentially with the Roxbourg Gold Medal).
:: Graduate with the Roxbourg Humanitarian MBA Group Degree with the names of all the team members in a “vertical certificate”.

6. Graduation Requirements: You can pitch your venture plan to the Roxbourg Jury after you have attended at least 36 out of 45 jam sessions in a particular semester. In order to graduate with a Roxbourg Humanitarian MBA for Groups you need to score at least 80% and a score of more than 90% is required to win the Roxbourg Gold Medal.

7. Certification: Graduates of Roxbourg Humanitarian MBA for Groups receive the highly specialized Master of Business Administration group degree from the Roxbourg Institute of Social Entrepreneurship (RISE), La Sarraz, Switzerland which is designed for teams who want to accelerate their ventures to empower their communities.

8. Accreditation: All Roxbourg Humanitarian MBA for Groups graduates are eligible to get accredited as Roxbourg Fellows. The accreditation process is managed by the Swiss Professional MBA Accreditation Program, which is part of the Roxbourg Institute of Social Entrepreneurship (RISE), designed to hyper-accelerate the adoption of Professional Higher Education (PHE) standards.

9. Graduation Ceremony: Roxbourg Humanitarian MBA graduates receive the invitation to the graduation ceremony at the GoodFestival. GoodFestival is the world's biggest celebration of sustainable innovation thanks to the City of Lausanne, State of Vaud, and support from 100+ organizations. GoodFestival is a multi-event series taking place in Lausanne, Switzerland since 2016.

10. Good100 Medal: Roxbourg Fellows and Graduates are eligible for the Good100 Medal / Label at the GoodFestival. The Good100 Medal is the highest peer recognition award for all Roxbourg and GoodFestival community members. The Roxbourg Jury evaluates every member based on their contribution to their community and advancing the boundaries of sustainable innovation through the consistent application of wisdom and compassion.
